Matthew Jenkin is a Sydney-based writer, director, producer and editor. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Communications (Media) degree at University of Western Sydney, he began making comedic shorts to firstly, make use of his talented friends, and secondly, to amuse his own warped sense of humour. After making the finals of several Australian film festivals, he focused on his corporate career. This included such diverse roles as National Press Coordinator for an advertising agency, door to door sales, and Club General Manager for a gym.
Matt soon found his feet as a video producer and journalist for the production company, The Australian Channel, working on such projects as SkillsOne, Teachers TV and the Rock Eisteddfod Challenge. Matt is now looking to publish his recently finished novel and is working on his next short film.
